Weekend to Remember

Whether you’re sending up an SOS for marital rescue or looking to foster an already flourishing connection, Weekend to Remember is your best next step toward being, and staying, one. Cross Point is excited to partner with Family Life to provide you and your spouse a Weekend to Remember. Scholarships are available for the first 45 couples to help with the conference costs. Each couple will be responsible for transportation, lodging and food.

Parent Summit
Are you a parent, grandparent, aunt, foster care provider, teacher, kid/student ministry volunteer, etc? 55+ Botanical Gardens Trip
Join the 55+ group for lunch at Grindhouse Killer Burgers and enjoy a visit to the Trial Gardens of UGA and the State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens. We plan to meet at Cross Point at 9:15 AM and will return around 5:30 PM. Lunch will be at noon and we will tour the gardens between 1-3.
Blood Drive
As part of Cross Point Cares come to Cross Point’s worship center on Thursday, May 2nd between 1-6:00 PM for a blood drive with the American Red Cross.
Wednesday Church - May
Wednesday Church is a traditional church service every second Wednesday morning of the month! We have breakfast at 9:30 AM, and the service starts at 10:00 AM

Women's Mentor Training
What is mentoring? Nancy DeMoss Woglemuth describes it: “Mentoring is simply drawing on your life experience in the context of everyday life to provide encouragement and exhortation to those who are younger.” Who are the older women? In Christ, we are each an older woman to another woman. How can we live out the gospel together? Join the conversation and encouragement in four sessions: 1)Laying the Groundwork, 2)Building the Relationship, 3)Keeping the Balance, and 4)Should There Be an End? **Childcare will not be available.

Adorned Group Sessions 8-10 Session 8 - Developing Self-Control Session 9 - Pursuing Holiness in an Unholy World Session 10 - Cultivating a Heart for Home We will be using Adorned: Living Out the Beauty of the Gospel Together by Nancy DeMoss Woglemuth and sessions from Revive our Hearts. Titus 2 will guide our conversations about women living out the beauty of the gospel together. You can join in this study at any time by reading the book, watching the sessions, and participating in the group conversations. No matter how you participate you will be blessed and encouraged to grow in your relationship with Jesus and one another. In preparation for this week, please read Adorned Chapters 8-10, Titus 2:1-5&10, and ask God to prepare your heart to hear from Him. Even if you don’t read the chapters, you are still encouraged to join us for sessions and conversation. **Childcare will not be provided.
